A wedding in Morocco is already special, but a full wedding week takes it to another level. A true once-in-a-lifetime experience for both the couple and their guests.
Most couples choose a wedding weekend. But sometimes, you want something different, something that goes beyond just one day.
For this wedding in Morocco, it was all about a full week. A journey shared with the people closest to them. Not just a wedding, but a complete experience.
It all started with the invitation
From the very beginning, everything was thoughtfully designed.
Guests received a custom invitation, including a specially designed luggage label. This label stayed with them throughout the entire trip as they moved from one location to another. A small detail that immediately created a sense of connection throughout the experience.
Welcome to Marrakech
The week began at Villa des Orangers with a welcome dinner.
After a long journey, we chose to create a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Soft green and white tones allowed guests to arrive, unwind, and settle into the experience.
At each seat, a personalized hammam spread was waiting. A first introduction to Moroccan culture.
Rooftop dinner in the Medina
The following evening took place on a rooftop in the Medina.
With the views and shared space, we kept the styling intentionally minimal. The focus was on unique napkins we sourced in Cape Town, each with its own character and perfectly matching the tiles of the location.
Combined with candlelight, the setting felt effortless, yet very considered.
More than just a wedding
This week was not only about styling, but about experience.
Guests explored Morocco through Medina walks, museum visits, a hot air balloon experience, and relaxing hammam moments. Each day added something new.
Into the desert: Scarabeo Camp
After Marrakech, the group moved to Scarabeo Camp, just outside the city.
Our styling team always traveled ahead to prepare everything.
For lunch, we created a relaxed setting with Moroccan rugs and a mix of low and high seating. Natural, easy, and personal.
Dinner was more refined, with sand tones, soft lighting, and subtle color accents that worked beautifully with the surroundings and menu.
Kasbah Tamadot: building towards the wedding day
The final location was Kasbah Tamadot.
Guests were welcomed with traditional Moroccan experiences such as henna for the ladies, while others enjoyed mint tea by the pool.
Throughout the week, the styling slowly built up. Each day adding more color and detail, leading towards the wedding day as the main moment.
The wedding day
And it truly was.
The ceremony took place by the pool, where we used the existing structure and enhanced it with floral arrangements that felt as if they were naturally growing into the setting.
The bride wore a hand-painted silk dress in soft turquoise tones instead of a traditional white gown. This became the starting point for the full design.
Working with color required balance, making sure everything felt intentional and cohesive.
Custom fabrics for the tables, letterpress menus, floral garlands, soft lighting, and an abundance of candles created a rich, layered atmosphere.
Collaboration and execution
For this wedding, we worked alongside het Bruidsmeisje as the wedding planner. Our team was responsible for the full styling concept and execution.
By combining local Moroccan suppliers with our own team from the Netherlands, we created the right balance between authenticity and the level of quality our clients expect.
From dinner to party
As the evening evolved, the atmosphere shifted.
Disco balls, lighting, and energy took over. The bride changed into a white dress, and the evening turned into a full celebration.
The final day: slowing down
The day after was all about slowing down.
Natural tones with soft greens brought calm after an intense week. A seating plan with fortune cookies and handwritten personal notes for each guest made it feel intimate and thoughtful.
More than a wedding
This was not just a one-day event, but a story unfolding over multiple days.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience for the couple and every guest involved.
Dreaming of a wedding in Morocco or a multi-day destination experience?
We would love to create something that goes beyond just one day and feels truly unforgettable.
